Hey world, how are you? I’m doing quite fine, thank you very much for asking. Well I’m not, the world has shut down and my original plan for the site has gone down the tubes.

The articles you see before you are the result of a previous attempt to build up the site’s article repitrour to show people what can be written about. I had plans for 2 more On Location posts at Cheesewalla in Redlands, CA and The Scum and Villainy Cantina in Hollywood, Los Angeles, CA but unfortunately since everything is closed, I’m not able to post about those in the meantime.

However, I can still do interviews, I can still write articles (I’ve got several in the pipeline) and most importantly, I can still do reviews. I’ve also completed significant work on the podcast network (which we are accepting submissions for) so basically, a lot of work has been done. There are some bits missing here and there (in terms of the site’s vision) and I intend to add those in the future.

My original plan was to wait for all the articles to be written first before I started recruiting but screw it. Recruitment season starts now…

If you are bored and looking for an outlet to write articles or collaborate with fellow article writers while getting paid through tips, contact us! I read every writing sample and we could really use more writers writing content with a hip nerdy bent to it. We’re non-profit, everything’s licensed under a Creative Commons BY-SA 4.0 license (as seen on our footer.) and it’s a fun way to pass the time.

If you’re not thinking about writing anytime soon, at least join our 32+ members and growing Discord server. We’ve got a lot of stuff for you to talk about and like-minded people to talk about it with.

I’d like to thank you for reading nerdazine and I hope that one day I can repay each and every one of you for helping the site grow and flourish.

Stay safe, everyone. If you’re serious, don’t be shy. Just do it.
