My Hero Academia season 4 has finally arrived. Many fans including myself eagerly checked out the first episode. You can find the simul-dub on Funimation Now, and you can watch the subtitled version on Hulu. This weekend was crazy, so I did not watch it until a day later after it’s release date (October 12th). Here are my thoughts so far. Don’t worry, you won’t find any spoilers here.
The first episode did not provide much of an idea of where the series is heading. Essentially, you get a bit of a back story and a recap of our favorite characters and where they currently stand. Now, there are some characters that are introduced in this first episode. Just some reporters doing a story on class 1-A, trying to get a scoop on what’s happening behind the walls of UA High. Even though the first episode is a slow start to the series, it leaves you pondering at the end about what is in store for our favorite hero Izuku Midoriya and his fellow classmates. It’s going to be a long season, and the first episode plays like a mild warm-up for what’s to come.
What will happen with All Might? How will Midoriya prepare for what is to come with the League of Villians? Will he be the symbol of peace the world needs? How many times will Bakugo yell at everybody (seriously, you could make a drinking game out of it)? We’ll just have to wait for the answers to come as the season moves forward.
What are your thoughts on how My Hero Academia season 4 will go? Do you think things are going to go well for our heroes or do you think they are about to get much worse? Leave us your thoughts down below, we can’t wait to hear from you!
